Honestly speaking, the Volvo FH13 2011 has its strengths and limitations. The fuel tank capacity provides sufficient range, which is practical for long hauls. The electronic systems, including the Bluetooth connectivity and board computer, add convenience. However, I encountered some complexity in the configuration, and the automated gearbox takes some getting used to. Overall, it's a truck designed for efficiency.

Driving the Volvo FH equipped with the I-Save package was a distinct experience. The handling was smooth, and the Dual Clutch transmission ensured seamless gear shifts. While the I-See feature efficiently adapted to road gradients, its anticipatory adjustments might not suit dense traffic scenarios. Altogether, it’s a commendable balance of innovation and practicality.

I had the opportunity to try the Volvo FH 500 and here’s what I think. The safety features are robust, like the lane departure and proximity sensors. They contribute to a more confident drive. However, I found the handling occasionally stiff during quick maneuvers. The cabin comfort is commendable with seating adjustments and effective air control, though a bit tight for extended stays. Overall, it does its job well but isn't without minor areas for improvement.

Used a Volvo FH13 recently for a long haul. Impressions could be better. Maintenance near the 800k km mark gets pricey, as you might expect.

Drove this FH460 during one of my hauls; it's quite the reliable machine. The gearbox shifts smoothly, ensuring a steady drive without hiccups. However, I did notice the cruise control tends to slow down earlier than necessary upon approaching other vehicles, which took some getting used to. The cabin comfort stands out-it feels like a second home for long drives. All in all, a dependable partner on the road.

I had a chance to drive the updated Volvo FH. The I-Shift Dual Clutch transmission works smoothly, making shifts barely noticeable, even under heavy loads. Fuel efficiency surprised me, savings are noticeable. However, the tech systems required some getting used to, but overall enhanced driving. Worth trying for those considering an upgrade.

Driven the FH 460 for about 2 years now, mostly across Germany and into Eastern Europe. Cab is roomy, I'll give them that, even with all my crap lying around. The fuel efficiency’s decent, especially when you’re loaded up. Didn't expect the assisted steering options to actually make a difference, but my arms aren't dead after a long shift. Had a coolant leak once, nothing wild, but getting spare parts outside major cities is a pain. Ride is alright, not the softest over rough patches, but way better than some older rigs I’ve had. Electronic stuff is finicky sometimes, had a warning light pop for no reason, went away next day. Overall gets stuff done, not perfect, but earns its keep.

The Volvo FH shows excellence in trip stability. While its safety measures like lane assistance are notable, they might occasionally feel overly precautionary. Still, better more safe than sorry. Maintenance cost seems high relative to lighter-duty trucks, but given its spec sheet, guess that's expected.

I've been in a bunch of cabs over the years and the FH with the D13TC engine has some stuff going for it. Noticed right away the engine noise is less in this one, which is honestly nice for the longer jobs. I ran both the 500 and 460 versions and, yeah, you've got good pull on hills even loaded up. The I-See thing is a bit weird, though. It does shift to neutral earlier than I like. Kinda feels like you slow more than you should on the top of the hill, which annoys the folks behind sometimes. It's efficient, but I'm not sold on the way it coasts. Inside the Globetrotter cab it's proper comfy, can't really knock that, and shifting is smooth enough with or without the Dual Clutch. As for running costs, Volvo says there's fuel savings, probably true over time, but you gotta put in extra to get all the new tech. Not 100% sure it pays off quickly if you're not doing massive miles.

I recently drove the Volvo FH 500, and here's my take. The design hasn't changed drastically compared to the previous model, but those new V-shaped headlamps do stand out. The driving experience remains solid, especially with a loaded cargo. That said, I found some external features a bit redundant. Overall, it gets the job done.
